Cashback.
| Spend | Earns | Cap |
|---|---|---|
| Dining, food delivery, groceries, shopping and utility bills (by merchant category; not Amazon, Flipkart or Myntra) | 10% cashback Terms | up to ₹1,200 a month Terms |
| Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra (left out of the 10% category) | 1.5% cashback Terms | no cap on record |
| Most other spends | 1.5% cashback Terms | no cap on record |
Cashback is credited to the card account within 45 days of the statement date.
HSBC pays the 10% rate by merchant category code: grocery, restaurant, utility and listed shopping codes (department stores, apparel, electronics and similar). In-store shopping on those codes also earns 10%, but CardWise leaves 'Other in-store spends' at 1.5% because that group also holds pharmacies and other codes that earn 1.5%. Spend above the ₹1,200 cap earns nothing more, as HSBC's own example shows. Instant EMI transactions earn no cashback.

Where HSBC’s documents differ, and what is used
- The product page's 'Know more (PDF)' link beside the lounge and eSIM benefit opens the Myntra launch-offer terms, not lounge terms; the lounge figures here come from the Live+ service guide (July 2026), which matches the product page.
- The ₹750 activation voucher appears on the product page; the ₹1,000 welcome-cashback terms say that offer cannot be combined with any other welcome or introductory offer, so only the cashback is counted as the welcome benefit.
