Contact
I read everything that arrives, and I reply to most of it. The fastest route is email.
Expect a reply within two or three working days. During filing season — July for returns, and the weeks around each advance tax date — it can take longer.
linkedin.com/in/caakhileshkumar — fine for a short question or an introduction.
X
x.com/caakhilesh_saha — where new pieces and the calculators are posted; replies and DMs are open.
What I am glad to hear about
- A correction. If a figure, a section reference or a due date here is wrong, please tell me. I would rather fix it than have it read by someone else. Corrections get priority over everything else in my inbox.
- A request for an article. If there is a provision you cannot find a clear explanation of anywhere, that is exactly what this site is for.
- Professional enquiries — direct tax, income tax compliance, and advisory work for businesses and individuals.
- Speaking, teaching and writing invitations.
What I cannot do by email
I cannot give you a view on your personal tax position over email. Not because I am unwilling — because a useful answer needs your documents, your residential status and your full picture, and a half-answer given without them is worse than none. If you need that, say so and we will arrange a proper consultation.
Please do not send me PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, passwords or portal credentials in a first email. There is no reason for me to have them at that stage.
Where I am
Gurgaon, Haryana, India. I work with clients across India and, on cross-border matters, outside it.
